Stuart Cable

I just cannot believe the sad, tragic news about the death of Stuart Cable. What a great guy he was. A fun loving guy. A rockin’ good drummer and the life and soul of the studio when we worked together.

I first met Stuart last summer doing promotion for Its Not A Dream at BBC Wales. He was such fun to be around and I am so glad that I got the chance to work with him when later in the year I asked him to come to Dublin to drum on ‘So Long Ago.’ We had such a lovely time. I expected and really looked forward to seeing him this year.

Stuart Cable and Sharon Corr

My heart goes out to Rachel, his mother Mabel, and all his family and friends.

Rest in peace, Stuart.

I'm shocked too, was a Stereophonics fan when he was in the band and I couldn't believe it when I read the news this morning. Wish he's in a better place now…

    R.I.P. amazing drummer

Wow that's shocking. He was so young. Even though I didn't know him that well, he leaves behind great music and he will be missed.

I remember seeing him on your “A day in my life” vlog. I like his laugh when you say you're still recording the album. He is in a good place now.

    Mysteries

In “A Day In My Life” I loved it when he spoke: “Come on, Sharon, be honest!”

I am afraid to seem pre-potent. But this sad news reminds me that I can not get another chance to tell it all.

1 – Once I had the album “In Blue” in hand, I could imagine this site. Somehow I knew that Sharon would have this site.

2- 20% of videos on this site, I had dreamed weeks before they were published.

3 – God was telling me the whole day in my head “Today is a very important day for Andrea.” Later I knew that she had married that day!

4 – God also told me in advance about the deaths of my two grandfathers.

5 – An angel told me: “Tell this teacher go to the hospital now.” I said, “I'm not crazy!” The angel answered: “If you do not warn him, he will die. Tell him to go to the hospital.” No!
In another week he had a heart attack and died.

I'm working up the courage for one year, to tell you that.
Sharon, you must care more for your children. If something bad happens to one of them, would be the end of the Corrs. Forgive me for saying all this. Finally, there is really something on the other side.

PS: I do not want to go to Heaven, I want to be here listening to the Corrs!

Was shocked when I read of his death & immediately made the connection to his radio interview & collaboration on your album. The loss of a friend is always painful & it is quite clear that you & Stuart had connected.

It is, however, very clear that your memories of Stuart are/will be very positive ones & may the track “So Long Ago” be a fitting tribute to the collaboration.

Hi Sharon, Yes it's one of the sad facts of life that people lose their friends & family from time to time.
As Ana says I remember seeing him on your vlog too. I wish you well in coping with this loss.
The one consolation is that you're memories of him will always be positive ones.
Take care Sharon And peace be with you. Kind thoughts always. Dan.

It's so sad and so shocking to learn of the sudden passing of Stuart Cable when only recently we were celebrating and enjoying his participation in your project. Sharon, I'm very sorry you've lost a friend. :'( My condolences to his family and friends.

Such sad news & a loss to the music industry. Stereophonics were the soundtrack to my Uni days, Stuart was an amazing musician. I'm glad that we still get to hear his work on your record & you have the memories of working with him. It's a lovely picture of you both.

Bruno, or whoever you are. Please don't involve Sharon's family in these things. It's rude. I think you may need help, the things you write are certainly not true and if you believe in it maybe you'd keep it to yourself? I don't meen to offend anyone but I think it's out of place.

I want to forward my condolences to Stuart's family and those who knew him.
