Hello From Dubai

I was in Dubai for St. Patrick’s day this year playing a gig at the Meydan Grandstand. Before the show I travelled to various radio and TV stations for interviews and fun! Here are some of the clips from the day:

    I know how they celebrate in Dublin, but how do people in Dubai celebrate on st patty’s day? Let alone a CORR.
    Could this be the reason why you told the interviewer you had to leave the following day.

    Curiosity abound! Such as how in the world can you dress, as you did in the interviews, when being modestly dressed, stands out like a bikini-clad girl skiing down the slopes in mid-winter? Hopefully someone will post a clip of the performance and we shall see.

    In reference to the stones when the Corrs do come back and they will, what about doing a rock, dance album to really shock everyone. You all ready did a parody of a rocking band. Oblivious the boys would have to kick it up but I think they could do it. And you Sharon could add a electronic keyboard to your performance.

    Sharon I was just on the Drudge report and he shows 933 m. page hits in one month, and he doesn’t do anything but link to.
    Now if you were looking to drive traffic why not set up a site linking to the news of the music industry with the Corrs front and center. You could call it the THE CORR NEWS, Basically you would be bringing back the DJ job.

    So many of the radio stations think people only want to listen to music commercial free as possible. Wrong, that, they can do at home. What fans are missing is the inside story, the trivia needed to converse with others.

    IDs are flowing as I type, if I had the inside music knowledge I would do it.

    I know, I know, I have too many great Ideas for you to keep up. Bob

    Sharon do you know how good, Goodbye and One Night are.

    Seems like Sunday evenings I end up listening to Corrs songs, and ever time I learn something new, and it strikes me how darn good they are. Do you ever listen to them yourself? I bet even you would be pleasantly surprised.

    I’m starting to see where you differ from the Corrs as a band. Now I really like the the pop/rock sound added to your lyrics, but I also like SC music as well. Having both I believe, is what, a good album makes.

    I hope you give the Corrs music a second judgement. I all ways start off neg and in short order fall in love. I think your too hard on things, and to much a perfectionist, Now since I’m one also and I think both Corrs and SC are very good then either I’m wrong or your wrong, and I know I’m not wrong so that leave us with…

    What brought this all up was the card you got from the girls. Love It.

    Now I hate to say it but Andrea has not learned her lesson yet.
    She needs to go out to the nearest field and yell and run till you can’t run any more, then sit down and ask herself why did it work before and why is it not working now…………………

    She is a flower mixed up with motor oil and needs to get the hell away from
    Bono and that team she’s involved with.
    You know how many Bono songs I have? 1, that’s it. But I have all of the Corrs. WTH is she doing!

    I have three pictures of you Sharon that I show people, when I discuss the Corrs. NIXFOTO with the green shirt and huge laugh, purple shirt against wall and sister pic, in hot press. That’s what Andrea needs to feel. You even said “I wish they could feel it to”.
